An editable, Excel-style daily task list โ one page per day, Monday through Sunday, a weekly summary, and a monthly rollup across every week you log. Track time slots, tasks and priority, download the whole workbook, or print a blank page to fill in by hand.
Pair your daily task list with your other goals and habits.
This free daily planner template gives each day of the week its own sheet for tasks with a time, category, priority, status and duration, plus a daily focus and notes. It is undated, so it works any week of any year. Weekly and monthly summaries fill in automatically, and you can download Excel, PDF or images.
Use the week switcher at the top to pick any calendar week, then work through the day tabs โ Monday through Sunday โ logging each task as a row: a time slot, what it is, a category, a priority level, a status and how long it should take. Set the day's focus at the top so each page tells its own story, and use the Daily Notes section below the grid for a longer reflection on how the day actually went.
Every week you visit is saved on its own, so your history builds up automatically โ jump back with the โ arrow or the date picker any time. Open the Weekly Summary tab for that week's totals, or the Monthly Summary tab to see every week you've logged in a given month rolled up together. When you're ready, download the current week's workbook as a single Excel (.xlsx) file, a PNG or JPG snapshot of any sheet, or a multi-page PDF of the whole planner โ or print any page blank and fill it in by hand.
Because there's no fixed year printed on the grid, this doubles as an undated daily planner. Pick whichever week you actually need with the date picker, so the same template works this month or three years from now instead of going stale like a dated printable. The Time and Duration columns also make this a simple time blocking sheet: give each task a start time and a length, and you can see how much of the day is already spoken for before you add anything new.
Plan study sessions in the study planner, build routines with the habit tracker, or set bigger targets in the goal planner. See every free planner in the planner hub.
Each day has rows for a time, task, category, priority, status and duration. The summary adds up the planned time and counts completed tasks, and your focus for the day sits at the top. Everything you type is saved automatically in your browser (local storage) on this device, so the sheet is still there when you come back, with nothing sent to a server and no account needed. Totals, completion rates and charts recalculate the moment a cell changes. When you want a copy, the export buttons build an Excel .xlsx file, a PNG or JPG image, or a PDF of the full planner, and the print buttons print one sheet or all of them. Because the data lives in one browser, use the Excel download if you want a backup or plan to switch devices.
Rewriting a to-do list every morning and adding up how long it will take is tedious. The planner keeps the week, totals the hours for you and carries the layout from day to day.
